I was worried as the box sat in the FL heat for over 8 hours till I got home. The box was cool and there was still a little of the ice left. Yet, the bread wasn’t quite frozen. Put in the freezer and a few days later we tried the baguette first. When it first came out of the oven, I expected it to be hard as a rock. Wow! I was so wrong! Beautiful crunchy crust that was perfect. The inside was hot and as fresh as I’ve ever had. After going through 3/4 of the box, I can’t tell you how impressed we were! Each bread is like we just picked them up fresh from the bakery! Can’t wait for my next order!!

Questions, answered

Do I have to subscribe?

No. One-time boxes are available at full price, but the free butter is a subscriber perk. Subscribers also pay $20 less a box and can cancel anytime after the first delivery.

Do I need to bake them?

No. Every loaf arrives fully baked. Preheat to 425°F and put the loaf straight on the center rack: whole loaves 15 to 18 minutes, baguettes 10 to 12. Rest 15 to 20 minutes before slicing; the crust will crackle and the crumb will set. The Seeded Sourdough comes pre-sliced and goes straight from frozen into the toaster.

How does frozen bread taste fresh?

Each loaf is frozen within hours of the bake, which stops the staling clock. Fifteen to eighteen minutes at 425°F from frozen (10 to 12 for baguettes) and it eats like it came out of the oven this morning.

Where do you ship?

Anywhere in the continental US, free, in one to three business days. Not Alaska, Hawaii, PO boxes or internationally yet.

Do the loaves contain allergens?

Every loaf contains wheat. The Seeded Sourdough and Multigrain Pullman contain sesame. The Cranberry Pecan contains pecans (tree nuts). All are made in a facility that may process dairy, eggs, tree nuts and sesame.
